Congratulations to Dr. Nancy Speck, winner of the 2018 Donald Metcalf Award given by the International Society of Experimental Hematology (ISEH)! The award was established in 1999 in honor of Professor Donald Metcalf, “the father of hematopoietic cytokines.” In recognition of Dr. Metcalf’s pioneering work on the control of blood cell formation, this award recognizes distinguished scientists in the field.
